The 26th TAOK Rogain will take place on October 3, 2026, in Kuusalu

In 2006, the event attracted 914 participants, making it the largest rogaining competition in the world at the time. This record was surpassed the very next year, in 2007, when 437 teams—comprising a total of 1,158 competitors—took part, a figure that remains the highest participation level to date. Over multiple years, the TAOK rogain has also been the most well-attended event in the Estonian Orienteering Federation’s calendar. Since 2008, the event has alternated annually between Southern and Northern Estonia.

TAOK rogain is the oldest and most popular rogaining event in Estonia. The competition area features 45 control points, each assigned a value between 2 and 6 points depending on its difficulty and distance. Teams consist of 2 to 5 members, and the time limit is either 8 or 4 hours, depending on the format. The objective is to accumulate the highest possible score by visiting control points within the allotted time. Participants may travel მხოლოდ on foot, navigating with a map and compass.
